Pint & Polish

exploring beer and nail lacquer in alaska

A-England’s St. George

Just a quick update-things have been busy here! It’s down to -20F most days now, and with the cold comes a few household maintenances that have been put off for a bit too long.

The formula on this, like the other a-England polish I have (Dragon) was phenomenal. The polish is *very* pigmented, requiring only one coat to be opaque! It dried to a fine shine, though I slapped some Seche Vite on top because hey, I’m a mom, and my baby wakes up randomly and makes me smudge my polish a lot. HA. Sadly, the SV shrunk it up a tad, and so by day two my tips are showing. 😦

The scattered holo in this is very fine, and does not appear in normal lighting. Even in sunlight, you have to be paying attention. Just keep that in mind! And now, without further ado: photos!

You can really see the holo sparkles in the bottle here!

This matches my favorite mug!

Next time I’ll add a bonus shot with the matching mug. πŸ˜‰ Ta for now, sweethearts!

  1. This is gorgeous. I had this one in my cart when I made my last a-england order and I took it out at the last minute! Bummer.

I just ordered it on Black Friday (at your suggestion, actually)! I can’t wait for it to come in!

  3. Oh goodness, this is lovely. Thanks so much for swatching! Although my wallet isn’t thanking you lol.
